Poolside parties are fun in summer
July 5, 2010Poolside parties are the best way to cool off in summers and have fun with friends and family. While planning to get your own swimming pool, poolside parties are always on the agenda. It is advisable to talk to your pool builders for the smartest arrangements in order to be able to arrange the decorations, set the themes and to make your pool the best place to party. Pool parties are a great arrangement for family parties as it gets the kids busy in the pool while the adults hit the lounge and get into the talking.
These kinds of parties can be arranged in the most interesting themes and decorations. Summer pool parties are the perfect mix of the sun and water. Whether it’s a birthday or any other event you wish to celebrate, a poolside party is the best bet if you can add some snazzy accessories, imagination and go ahead to planning things.
Begin the plan with cleaning your pool before the party. You need to plan to clean your pool a good two weeks ahead of the party. A clean pool is a requisite to impress your guests and you could call in your pool builder or pool contractor to help you with professional advice. While going overboard with your guest list, do keep in mind the size of your pool, though it isn’t of prime importance for the party. Ensure you place a canopy or a closed room for people to change into their swimsuits. Arrange tables and patio chairs around your pool for your guest. While arranging the furniture ensure they do not cut away the space around your pool. For the food and beverages keep separate large tables at one of the corner of the pool. Play around with your pool décor depending on your party. You could also create shade around the pool with umbrellas if your pool doesn’t have trees around.
Pool parties for kids can have sand and seashells around to give it a seaside feel. For an evening poolside party, be creative with candles and lanterns. Citronella candles come with the benefit of driving insects away. Provide enough toys and beach balls to set the mood rolling for water games in the party.
